AUVSI Xponential '21!

This year we decided to attend an industry tradeshow. After many months of lockdowns and virtual meetings, it was time to get out from behind a screen and move about the world again. For our first foray, we chose the AUVSI Xponential in Atlanta where we would be able to see in person some of the advancements being made in the world of drones, and to be fair, robotics.

We attended with some of our friends like Ray Adams from the Urban Low Altitude Transport Association (ULTRA) and Dave Krause of Influential Drones. Some refer to us as "The Jersey Boys" and we certainly let the room know we're there! We really enjoy talking about the state of the industry and where it is heading. What we try to do is bring a reality perspective as well as build relationships. We have been able to flourish during the past year by brining in a steady voice that doesn't pretend to have all the answers or promote impossible dreams. By coming at the industry with a focus on realistic expectations, we have burnished our reputations as being credible and telling our clients what the need to hear instead of what they want to hear.

The drone industry is making slow and steady progress and by working on obstacles one at a time and sharing the perspectives, we keep clients engaged and interested in building out this new form of aviation. We look forward to more interactions and engagements as more of the world starts to come back to life!

While we were there, we also caught up with some friends and enjoyed the after show networking. Its great to be around others who are passionate about the blossoming industry. While we all don't "fly" drones, each person brings a slice of expertise to round out the growth.
